MINI COOPER'S KIDDIES PAGE!
a message from Mini Coops:

Hi my name is Cooper and I am Vanessa & Mikes little girl Dachshund.  I love to go whale & dolphin watching, I even have my very own mini lifejacket so I can go on the ocean with them & be safe! It so much fun!  They have given me my own page so I can share all my adventures with you kids!
Cooper meets some of the locals & regular dolphin swimmers

Hey kids,

In June I went to the beach again with Van & Mike and this time the water was soooo much warmer than before.  Though Dusty was about and spending alot of time with her people friends, I learned how to use my sea legs.  Swimming is not one of my strongest talents so I had to concentrate alot on staying afloat, of course wearing my life jacket certainly helped.

I was really lucky to get lots of cuddles from some of the local swimmers who seemed very happy to spend some time with me instead of with the big old dolphin, only kidding Dusty, I love you really.  I even got to have a go on a boogie board and to my surprise Dusty never tried to take it from me.  Thank goodness, I would be no match for the strength of an adult female bottlenose dolphin.  I am going again to Clare in July and I can't wait.  I hope to come back with lots of stories about Dusty for you kids.

You know this time I tried barking into the water but I figured as dusty has no ears, she probably couldn't hear, but then I over heard Mike talking to some kids on the beach and he said that dolphins do have ears, they are not like my big floppy ears, but instead they are just pinholes on either side of the dolphins head
and guess what?? They can hear even better than you and me, isn't that cool.

Cooper's special message for kids this summer

Hey kids are any of you lucky enough to be going to a hot sunny place like Spain or Malta this summer?  I bet some of you are.

Can you do me a big favour this year, if your mum, dad, Aunts, Uncles or whoever your on holiday with want to take you to a dolphin show.

Please say what I say ' nop thanks, I would rather see them in the sea guys'  Then ask your family to find a local dolphin or whale watch boat and have it take you out to sea for a whole afternoon.  Its so much fun!  Remember to carry a dolphin/ Whale reference book with you so you can spot and recognise Dolphins and Whales in the Sea. Then come back & email me with your stories!
