As a Dolphin swimmer and novice free diver this is one of my personal favourites. This movie was directed by Luc Besson in the 80's and is still great, Jean Reno is particularly brilliant in it.
Eye of the Dolphin is a family movie, set in the Bahama's.  The story follows the life of teenage girl sent to live with her estranged father after her mother's death.  She discovers after befriending a wild dolphin thats she has an ability to communicate with her new ocean friend. Very enjoyable and heart warming.
Saving Luna recently screened in Cork, is a  documentary following the life of the beautiful & tragic tale of Luna, a friendly wild young Orca off the coast of Vancouver.  I highly recommend this movie.  written by Michael Parfit
